Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis

Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

Audit committee characteristics and earning management: a study in companies listed on the BM&FBOVESPA

O estudo teve como objetivo verificar se características do Comitê de Auditoria refletem no Gerenciamento de Resultados (GR) das empresas brasileiras listadas na BM&FBovespa. Foram analisadas 31 empresas em 2010 e 33 empresas no ano de 2011. A população corresponde as empresas listadas na BM&FBovespa, totalizando 415 empresas.
