Hemophilia BM in a female

Thrombosis Research, 1985
A 28 year old pregnant woman was referred for genetic counselling because of a bleeding tendency and a family history of hemophilia. The hemophilia patients had 0.02 units/ml of factor IX activity and a normal concentration of factor IX antigen. In addition they had a prolonged coagulation time with bovine thromboplastin and were therefore cases of ...

Proteoglycans and Glycosaminoglycans in Cartilage from the Brachymorphic (bm/bm) mouse

Collagen and Related Research, 1985
The brachymorphic (bm/bm) mouse is a disproportionate dwarf with a disturbance of the endochondral growth of the skeleton. Rib cartilage from 25-day-old affected animals and their normal siblings was analyzed for its contents and composition of proteoglycans.

Growth Parameters in the Epiphyseal Cartilage of Brachymorphic (bm/bm) Mice

Calcified Tissue International, 2000
We studied kinetics in the epiphyseal cartilage of the brachymorphic (bm/bm) mouse, combining morphometry and labeling with halogenated nucleotides. The defective synthesis of the sulfate donor PAPS in these homozygous mutants is evident in tissues with a large production of glycosaminoglycans; these compounds become undersulfated.

BMS – Consensus statement

Post Reproductive Health, 2018
Urogenital atrophy is more common than it would first appear and women do not always seek advice and guidance. Confusion still exists between systemic hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and local estrogen preparations but new treatment modalities have emerged that extend the range of options beyond lubricants, moisturisers and vaginal estrogen ...

The BM Algorithm and the BMS Algorithm

1998
We present a brief overview of the Berlekamp-Massey (BM) algorithm and of the Berlekamp-Massey-Sakata (BMS) algorithm, with an emphasis on a close relationship between them, which can be summarized as follows: BM algorithm + Grobner basis = BMS algorithm.

Lukasiewicz Fuzzy BM-Algebra and BM-Ideal

Communications on Applied Nonlinear Analysis
Introduction: ℱ???????????????? Sets is a mathematical framework that expands the traditional concept of sets by enabling elements to have degrees of membership. This enables partial membership based on degree of likeness. In classical set theory, an element can be represented as a crisp set, indicated by x, which either belongs to or does not belong ...
