BMS revisited

open access: yesProceedings of the 12th Conference on Theoretical Aspects of Rationality and Knowledge, 2009
The insight of the BMS logical framework (proposed by Baltag, Moss and Solecki) is to represent how an event is perceived by several agents very similarly to the way one represents how a static situation is perceived by them: by means of a Kripke model.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Study on effect of laboratory roller compaction on unconfined compressive strength of lime treated soils

open access: yesInternational Journal of Geo-Engineering, 2021
Expansive soils are problematic due to their swell—shrinkage behavior and low compressive strength. They are modified generally with additives such as lime, fly ash, and various other inorganic and organic materials. Chemical stabilization treatments can

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.
