Blood chemical values of the common boa constrictor (Constrictor constrictor)

SUMMARY Reference values of 24 serum constituents in 5 boa constrictors (Constrictor constrictor) were determined under fasting conditions. After feeding, serum uric acid, cholesterol, carbon dioxide, and triglyceride values increased. These values decreased to fasting values within 6 days.
