Surface Reconstruction‐Promoted Alkaline Overall Water Splitting on Fe‐Doped Ni2P/NiMoO4 Composite Structure

open access: yesElectron, EarlyView.
Fe‐Ni2P/NiMoO4 heterostructure delivers bifunctional performance for both HER and OER in alkaline solution. During OER, Fe doping suppresses LOM through electronic modulation, which consequently leads to an AEM route with enhanced OH* adsorption. Furthermore, the elimination of oxygen‐loss pathways ensures the structural integrity of the Fe‐Ni2P ...

Photoinduced Solution‐Stable Radicals via Intramolecular Charge Separation From anti‐Kasha Emissive BN‐Azepines

open access: yesElectron, EarlyView.
A series of BN‐azepines with a twisted heptagonal B–N donor–acceptor framework was synthesized, enabling stable photoinduced radicals in solution. Upon photoexcitation, charge separation between the triarylamine donor and boron acceptor yields a longer‐lived triplet state, which can generate a nitrogen radical cation through electron transfer.

Cheia de axé (full of axé): Spirituality, resistance, and repair in Pernambuco's Afro‐Brazilian traditional communities

open access: yesFeminist Anthropology, EarlyView.
Abstract This article explores how Afro‐Brazilian communities in Pernambuco respond to state‐led industrial development through culturally rooted practices of resistance and repair. Drawing on archival and ethnographic research in the coastal municipalities of Cabo de Santo Agostinho and Ipojuca, this study traces the effects of Brazil's large‐scale ...
