Isolated nostril myoclonus: A novel ictal presentation in structural generalised epilepsy
Introduction: Perioral myoclonus (POM) is a rare seizure manifestation which may present in either idiopathic or structural epilepsies. There has been little description of the rarer ictal manifestations in POM in generalised epilepsy.

ABSTRACT Objective Neurochemical levels measured by brain MR spectroscopy (MRS) have been proposed as endpoints for clinical trials in early‐stage spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA) trials. We tested their trial‐readiness by quantifying neurochemicals in three affected brain regions in early‐stage cohorts of SCA2 and SCA3, examining their reproducibility in ...

Ozzy, a Jag1 vestibular mouse mutant, displays characteristics of Alagille syndrome
The mouse mutant Ozzy, originating from an ENU-mutagenesis programme, displays a head bobbing phenotype. We report here that Ozzy mice show a clear deficit in vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR).

Waveguide Geometry–Driven Trade‐Offs in Resonant Cavity Sensor Performance
Waveguide geometry governs the interplay between sensitivity, intrinsic Q‐factor, and wavelength noise in silicon nitride resonant sensors. Contrary to intuition, higher sensitivity does not ensure superior performance. Low‐noise, high‐Q ridge resonators achieve the lowest detection limits, revealing that detection is ultimately constrained by noise ...

A Perspective on Interactive Theorem Provers in Physics
Into an interactive theorem provers (ITPs), one can write mathematical definitions, theorems and proofs, and the correctness of those results is automatically checked. This perspective goes over the best usage of ITPs within physics and motivates the open‐source community run project PhysLean, the aim of which is to be a library for digitalized physics

Modelling human actions on lightweight structures: experimental and numerical developments
This paper presents recent, numerical and experimental, developments in modelling dynamic loading generated by humans. As modern structures with exposure to human-induced loading, such as footbridges, building floors and grandstands, are becoming ever ...
