Performing Arts and Embodiment in Christian Theology

open access: yesSt Andrews Encyclopaedia of Theology
Across the geographical breadth and temporal depth of Christianity, theology and the performing arts have been natural partners, suspect allies, committed enemies, and passionate friends. Performing arts are bodily actions in time and space.

Transducers Across Scales and Frequencies: A System‐Level Framework for Multiphysics Integration and Co‐Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Bodily Encounter, Bearing Witness and the Engaged Activism of the Global Save Movement

open access: yes, 2018
The global Save Movement, alongside other animal rights organisations and practices, has since 2010 sought\ud to bring the experiences of nonhuman farmed animals into the public domain from privatized, usually hidden spaces of industrial procedure and slaughter.

Hierarchical Multi‐Material Architectures With Gradient Design for Dynamic‐Range Flexible Tactile Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Hierarchical multi‐material TPMS lattices are engineered as flexible tactile sensors by combining soft and stiff elastomeric layers with a conformal conductive coating. The bilayer architecture delivers sensitivity at low pressures while maintaining a broad detectable range under large loads, enabling reliable pressure and vibration monitoring for ...

Shaping Carbon Nitrides for Advanced Macrostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This review examines how carbon nitride can be shaped through a range of printing and interfacial assembly methods. By bringing together additive manufacturing and liquid–liquid structuring concepts, carbon nitride is moving beyond its traditional powder‐based photocatalyst form toward digitally designed robust macroscale architectures with high design

Flexible Pressure Sensor With Co‐Optimized Sensitivity and Linearity Based on Gradient Toroidal Microstructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A flexible piezoresistive pressure sensor with gradient toroidal CNT/PDMS microstructures is reported. The hierarchical geometry enables sequential electrode contact, achieving a sensitivity of 256.20 kPa−1 and linear response (R2 = 0.99) over 0–1000 kPa.
