Collection of body–object interaction ratings for 5,637 Japanese words
Body-object interaction (BOI)—the degree to which a person physically interacts with objects or entities—has been shown to affect language processing, although studies have reported inconsistent results depending on the language or context. Moreover, no large-scale BOI database exists for Japanese.

ABSTRACT Background Reduced bone mineral density (BMD) has been reported in survivors of childhood and young adult acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL); however, data from cohorts treated with contemporary protocols and including matched controls remain limited.

ABSTRACT Background Young adult childhood cancer survivors (YA‐CCS) have an increased risk of treatment‐related health complications throughout their lives. Lifelong survivorship care is recommended, yet many YA‐CCS experience disruptions in care during pediatric‐to‐adult transitions and do not receive recommended survivorship care.

ABSTRACT Febrile neutropenia (FN) is a frequent and serious complication in children receiving cancer therapy. Standardizing FN management across Asia is challenging due to variable healthcare infrastructure, diagnostic capacity, and infection patterns; however, it could improve resource use and patient outcomes.

ABSTRACT The medical burdens of sickle cell disease (SCD) and transfusion‐dependent β‐thalassemia (TDT) are chronic and cumulative, even in children. Yet the effects expand beyond medications and healthcare visits due to their impacts on school attendance, academic performance, and peer engagement.

Body and Object Effectors: The Organization of Object Representations in High-Level Visual Cortex Reflects Body–Object Interactions [PDF]
The principles driving the functional organization of object representations in high-level visual cortex are not yet fully understood. In four human fMRI experiments, we provide evidence that the organization of high-level visual cortex partly reflects the degree to which objects are typically controlled by the body to interact with the world, thereby ...

ABSTRACT Background Patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis commonly experience reduced physical function, fatigue, poor sleep quality, and impaired health‐related quality of life. Intradialytic exercise has been proposed as a non‐pharmacological strategy to improve these outcomes.

Modeling inertia through the interaction with quantum fluctuations
The origin of inertia of macroscopic bodies has never been thoroughly elucidated. In this paper we provide a new explanation based on the following assumptions: (i) we can think of any body as being composed by resonant parts of Planck size, (ii) inertia

Embodied semantic processing: The body-object interaction effect in a non-manual task
AbstractBody-object interaction (BOI) measures people's perceptions of the ease with which a human body can physically interact with a word's referent. Facilitatory BOI effects, involving faster responses for high BOI words, have been reported in a number of visual word recognition tasks using button press responses.
