HTMC: hierarchical tolerance mask correspondence for human body point cloud registration [PDF]

open access: yesPeerJ Computer Science, 2023
Point cloud registration can be solved by searching for correspondence pairs. Searching for correspondence pairs in human body point clouds poses some challenges, including: (1) the similar geometrical shapes of the human body are difficult to ...

Significant Body Point Labeling and Tracking [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, 2014
In this paper, a method is presented to label and track anatomical landmarks (e.g., head, hand/arm, feet), which are referred to as significant body points (SBPs), using implicit body models. By considering the human body as an inverted pendulum model, ellipse fitting and contour moments are applied to classify it as being in Stand, Sit, or Lie posture.

Rules for body fat interventions based on an operating point mechanism

open access: yesiScience, 2023
Summary: Interventions to reduce fat are important for human health. However, they can have opposing effects such as exercise that decreases fat but increases food intake, or coherent effects such as leptin resistance which raises both. Furthermore, some

Signatures of a critical point in the many-body localization transition

open access: yesSciPost Physics, 2021
Disordered interacting spin chains that undergo a many-body localization transition are characterized by two limiting behaviors where the dynamics are chaotic and integrable. However, the transition region between them is not fully understood yet.

Living body recognition method based on facial feature point motion

open access: yes网络与信息安全学报, 2018
A kind of living body recognition method was proposed, which was applied in mobile terminal and based on the deep learning.A facial movements LSTM network was trained using data sets. When users input a random sequence of video, user’s facial feature point ...

Critical fluctuations at a many-body exceptional point

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2020
Critical phenomena arise ubiquitously in various contexts of physics, from condensed matter, high-energy physics, cosmology, to biological systems, and consist of slow and long-distance fluctuations near a phase transition or critical point.

3D Joints Estimation of the Human Body in Single-Frame Point Cloud

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Joint estimation of human body in point cloud is a key step for tracking human movements. In this work, we present a geometric method to achieve detection of the joints from a single-frame point cloud captured using a Time-of-Flight (ToF) camera.

Zonoozi ’s view point about "The union of soul and body" [PDF]

open access: yesحکمت صدرایی, 2019
:In moslem peripatetic’s Thaught, Alkindi and Avennasar had neoplatonic view to the relation of soul and body and so they have remagerd It as the relation between Idea and Matter.

Gaze Point Tracking Based on a Robotic Body–Head–Eye Coordination Method

open access: yesSensors, 2023
When the magnitude of a gaze is too large, human beings change the orientation of their head or body to assist their eyes in tracking targets because saccade alone is insufficient to keep a target at the center region of the retina.
