Stiffness‐Programmable Origami Robots With Tendon‐Driven Actuation via Multimaterial 3D Printing
Motion diversity is achieved in a tendon‐driven origami robot through programmable stiffness rather than modified actuation. Multimaterial 3D printing embeds soft creases, modular inserts redirect identical tendon inputs into distinct behaviors, and variable‐stiffness inserts enable real‐time switching.

Two Cases of Lower Body Contouring with [PDF]
Massive weight loss results in skin excess, leading to an unsatisfying body contour. Variousthigh lift procedures can correct flabby skin in the lower leg. We present a lower bodycontouring technique with a report on two patients.

Nonreciprocal Swarmalators With Reconfigurable and Controllable Formations for Robot Collectives
Nonreciprocal swarmalator interactions are enabled through control barrier functions to transform self‐organizing robot collectives into reconfigurable, constraint‐aware systems. Complex two‐ and three‐dimensional shapes, continuous morphing, obstacle‐aware navigation, collective splitting, and object transport emerge from modulating agent‐level ...

An on‐demand ultra‐reconfigurable intelligent vision system with hierarchical reconfigurability from device to system levels is demonstrated. Through co‐design of a multi‐paradigm device, reconfigurable circuits, and adaptive system architecture/algorithms, the system enables seamless switching among spiking, non‐spiking, neuromorphic imaging (NI), and

Assessment of excess skin and outcome of body contouring surgery in post bariatric patients [PDF]
Aim: A negative effect of massive weight loss is the development of excess skin. Excess skin causes both physical and psychological problems for those affected and their families.

Ferroelectric Devices for In‐Memory and In‐Sensor Computing
Inspired by biological systems, in‐memory and in‐sensor computing overcome von Neumann bottlenecks. Ferroelectric devices can mimic synaptic functions and sense stimuli like light or force, therefore are ideal for these paradigms. This review introduces the ferroelectric devices applied for in‐memory and in‐sensor computing, covering their structures ...

Harnessing Phase Separation for the Development of High‐Performance Hydrogels
ABSTRACT Hydrogels are indispensable for the development of next‐generation bioelectronics, soft robotics, and biomedical devices, where their mechanical properties determine performance and reliability. Among strategies to enhance hydrogel mechanics, phase separation enables controlled heterogeneity resulting in gel networks that are reinforced by ...
