PLL‐g‐HPA Hydrogel Microneedles Loaded With Rhoifolin Target Macrophages to Alleviate Fibroblast Senescence for Diabetic Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Diabetic wound healing is hindered by a pathological crosstalk wherein elevated IL‐11 induces M1 macrophage polarization, leading to IL‐1β/IL‐6 release and subsequent fibroblast senescence via RAS/p38MAPK/p53/E2F1 signaling. Here, we develop a Gel@M‐Rho microneedle patch that delivers rhoifolin‐loaded, macrophage membrane‐coated nanoparticles to target

[Relationship between body mass index and percentage of body fat].

open access: yesArchivos latinoamericanos de nutricion, 1998
The relationship between body mass index (BMI) and the percentage of corporal fat (PCF) and the risk factor according to the waist/hip index (W/H) was studied in 326 adults. With the BMI we observed non-obese adults with a high levels of risk due to W/H ratio and obese individuals with an W/H ratio not indicating high risk.

Dual Role of Tamoxifen in Enhancing STING and CEACAM1 Expression to Prime a Favorable Tumor Microenvironment for Anti‐TIM3 Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Anti‐PD‐1/PD‐L1 blockade has revolutionized cancer immunotherapy, but is ineffective against endocrine‐treated (i.e., Tamoxifen), relapsed ER+ breast cancer (BC) patients. This study provides insight into the sub‐optimal response of ER+BCs to anti‐PD‐1/PD‐L1 blockade – highlighting the induction of STING and the CEACAM1/TIM3 axis after chronic ...

Coixenolide Enhances Antitumor Immunity of Cytotoxic CD8+ T Cells by Inhibiting S100A8/A9‐CD36 Axis in Obesity‐Associated Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD) remains highly lethal with limited treatment options. This study demonstrates that coixenolide, a bioactive compound from Coix lacryma‐jobi L. and a key component of the clinically approved Kanglaite injection, exhibits enhanced antitumor efficacy in high‐fat diet (HFD)‐induced obese mice bearing PAAD tumors compared to
