Pattern Regulator for Wireless Body Sensor Networks

2013 IEEE 10th International Conference on High Performance Computing and Communications & 2013 IEEE International Conference on Embedded and Ubiquitous Computing, 2013
In a wireless body area sensor network (WBAN), biosensors are implanted or worn on an individual to acquire medical data for a clinical diagnosis or physical monitoring. Traditionally, authentication and cryptography techniques are used to achieve the data confidentiality and privacy of a WBAN system. However, for WBAN systems, besides data itself, the

Hox genes and patterning the vertebrate body

The diversity of vertebrate body plans is dizzying, yet stunning for the many things they have in common. Vertebrates have inhabited virtually every part of the earth from its coldest to warmest climates. They locomote by swimming, flying, walking, slithering, or climbing, or combinations of these behaviors. And they exist in many different sizes, from

The Immunoelectrophoretic Patterns of some Body Fluids of Sheep

Research in Veterinary Science, 1968
The distribution of immunoglobulins in various body fluids of sheep was studied by immunoelectrophoresis. The slow and fast γ-globulins and IgM were present in serum and pre-suckling colostrum. The slow and fast γ-globulins were present in synovial fluid, pericardiac fluid, Graafian follicle fluid and fluid from the uterine cavity.

Trilobite body patterning and the evolution of arthropod tagmosis

BioEssays, 2003
AbstractPreservation permitting patterns of developmental evolution can be reconstructed within long extinct clades, and the rich fossil record of trilobite ontogeny and phylogeny provides an unparalleled opportunity for doing so. Furthermore, knowledge of Hox gene expression patterns among living arthropods permit inferences about possible Hox gene ...
