The role of tertiary wave interactions in wave–body problems
Journal of Fluid Mechanics, 2005Results from experiments on wave interaction with a rigid plate are reported. The plate is projected from one of the sidewalls of the basin. The sidewall acts as a plane of symmetry, thereby doubling the widths of the plate and of the basin. The tests are carried out in regular waves of varying periods and steepnesses.

In-body and on-body wave propagation: Modeling and measurements
2017 International Workshop on Antenna Technology: Small Antennas, Innovative Structures, and Applications (iWAT), 2017Biological medium surrounding an implanted device is characterized by a high dielectric permittivity and a loss factor. This fact results in a degradation of the electromagnetic signal by a strong wave reflection from the interface and refraction phenomena accompanied by the total internal reflection at the interface between the biological tissue and ...

Wave Scattering by Small Bodies
Reports on Mathematical Physics, 1982A new method for treating the many body problem for wave scattering by r small bodies is given. Formulae and numerical algorithm for the calculation of the scattering amplitude are given. The method allows for treatment of the case of \(r\sim 10^{23}\).
