Muscular development and lean body weight in body builders and weight lifters
Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, 1980The extent of extreme muscular development in 39 males identified as body builders (N = 18), power weight lifters (N = 13), and Olympic weight lifters (N = 8) were studied. Body composition and anthropometric data, including calculations of pre-excess muscle body weight (scale weight minus excess muscle) were obtained.
