Abstract The crystal structure of a deuterated synthetic boehmite powder, γ -AIOOD, has been determined by time-of-flight neutron diffraction and Rietveld profile refinement in space group Cmcm to a weighted profile R of 3.71%.

Properties of boehmite (γ-AlOOH) and Eu3+-doped boehmite synthesized by hydrothermal method

Abstract Boehmite nanoplates and Eu 3+ -doped boehmite nanoplates were synthesized by a facile hydrothermal reaction. And the boehmite nanoparticles behave as plate-like in morphology and have a small size about 59 nm. Those nanoplates could be effectively excited by near-UV light in the range of 360 nm to 420 nm.
