Regional Personality Variation in Sweden: Trait Clusters, Links to Health and Well‐Being, and Historical Context

open access: yesScandinavian Journal of Psychology, Volume 67, Issue 2, Page 439-472, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Personality traits (e.g., the Big Five) shape human behavior, decision‐making, and life outcomes. Evidence from various countries suggests that these traits are not randomly distributed but follow systematic regional patterns, fueling interest in their geographical variation.

Patterns of Cognitive‐Emotional Responses to Online Body Shaming and Pathological Behavior Odds Among Adolescents (11–17)

open access: yesScandinavian Journal of Psychology, Volume 67, Issue 2, Page 585-595, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Online body shaming is common in adolescence and linked to a range of maladaptive outcomes. This study examined whether discrete cognitive–emotional responses to online body shaming are differentially associated with somatization, escaping behavior, eating‐disorder behaviors, and substance use, and whether these associations vary by age or sex.

Trends and Circulation Conditions of Precipitation Over the Sudeten Mountains (Central Europe) in the Years 1961–2020

open access: yesInternational Journal of Climatology, Volume 46, Issue 4, 30 March 2026.
Significant trends of precipitation totals are visible at seasonal (negative in spring and positive in winter) and monthly level. The deepening rainfall deficit in April in Western Sudetes threatens the stabilisation of forest ecosystems, the preservation of biodiversity and significantly limits water resources for economic use.

The Future of Forest Microclimate in Southeast Asia

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 5, 16 March 2026.
Abstract Forest microclimates regulate biodiversity, ecosystem functioning, and species' thermal tolerance, yet tropical forest disturbances (logging, fire and fragmentation) increasingly disrupt these conditions. Southeast Asia, home to 15% of the world's tropical forests, faces rapid deforestation and degradation, but large‐scale changes in maximum ...
