Thermoregulation of Free-Ranging Diamond Pythons, Morelia spilota (Serpentes, Boidae)
Copeia, 1988Temperature-sensitive radiotransmitters were implanted in 18 free-ranging diamond pythons (Morelia spilota), and the snakes monitored for 4-34 mo. Body temperatures rose during a period of morning basking to between 28 and 30 C then fell gradually until the following morning.

Distribution and Variation in the Treeboa Corallus annulatus (Serpentes: Boidae)
Studies on Neotropical Fauna and Environment, 2001The arboreal boid Corallus annulatus has a disjunct distribution in tropical wet forests from extreme southeastern Guatemala to southwestern Ecuador (west of the Andes). The characters upon which subspecies (C. a. blombergi and C. a. colombianus) were described are shown to be of no diagnostic value.
