We report the fast generation of biocompatible solutions of highly 13C‐hyperpolarized (≈11%) partially‐deuterated ketoisocaproate within <6 min using spin‐lock‐induced crossing and reversible exchange with parahydrogen (SLIC‐SABRE). This enables rapid detection of branched‐chain‐amino‐acid transferase 1 (BCAT1) protein expression and investigation of ...

Pemanfaatan Boil-Off Gas Sebagai Bahan Bakar Kapal Pengangkut Gas
LNG carrier is the most reliable primary means of transportation of LNG in the world. In operation, each LNG carrier would result in boil-off gas from the cargo hold due to the expansion.BOG The average amount that can be produced is 0.15% of the tank ...

This study investigates zwitterionic all‐solid‐state electrolytes, demonstrating strong carboxyl‐Li+ interaction that forms “ion‐enrichment pathway”‐like domains and manipulates Li+ deposition. Additionally, surface‐enriched zwitterions generate a dual‐layer SEI with an inner Li2O‐rich and outer LiF‐rich structure. Through ionic flux regulation and SEI

A geophysical study of a pockmark in the Nyegga region, Norwegian Sea [PDF]
Over the last decade pockmarks have proven to be important seabed features that provideinformation about fluid flow on continental margins. Their formation and dynamics are stillpoorly constrained due to the lack of proper three dimensional imaging of ...

Abstract Electrification of distillation offers a promising route to reducing scope‐1 emissions from one of the chemical industry's most energy‐intensive unit operations. However, conventional adiabatic columns are dynamically inflexible: Long, energy‐intensive start‐ups make shutdown and restart impractical under variable electricity prices and ...

The atmospheres of small, close-in exoplanets are vulnerable to rapid mass-loss during protoplanetary disc dispersal via a process referred to as `boil-off', in which confining pressure from the local gas disc reduces, inducing atmospheric loss and ...

Boil-off gas handling for LNG-carriers with a low-swirl burner
Wärtsilä is looking into a new technology for boil-off gas handling. The technology chosen for further research is a low-swirl burner. This burner has shown promising NOx emission results which is a problem inside the shipping industry. The system is a combined high/low-swirl burner that could handle both premixed- and none-premixed mixture.

Challenges and enablers in fluidization technology
Abstract Gas–solid fluidized beds provide excellent heat and mass transfer for high‐throughput operations from coating to catalytic conversion and underpin emerging low‐carbon technologies. Yet industrial reliability, scale‐up, and control lag scientific understanding, particularly as finer, stickier, and more variable feedstocks increasingly challenge
