CASCADING HEAT UTILIZATION OF FLUE GASES OF HEATING WATER BOILERS

POWER ENGINEERING: economics, technique, ecology, 2016
These methods and calculation results of energy efficiency of heater installations used for heat utilization of flue gas water boilers, with their use in "dry" and "wet" conditions. The minimum temperature in the cooling flue gas heaters when achieved maximum flow allotted heat.

Turbines for Water-Heating Boilers in a Thermoelectric Plant

Russian Engineering Research, 2016
The turbine rotor of a system operating on the basis of the organic Rankine cycle may be analyzed by means of approximate coefficients in the polynomial describing the isobaric specific heat of Freon R245fa as a function of the temperature. Calculation of the energy balance confirms the applicability of such systems.

Heat recovery boilers with water spray. Part I: Thermodynamic analysis validation and boiler practicality

Thermal Science and Engineering Progress, 2020
Abstract This study develops a thermodynamic analysis method to determine thermal efficiency and provide information regarding capacity design specification for each system component. A chain-block structure analysis method is introduced for heat recovery boilers with water-spray (HR-B/WS), where water is sprayed onto the inlet air stream and/or ...

Water leaks in sodium-heated fast reactor boilers

Physics in Technology, 1978
The problems of water leaks in sodium-cooled reactors is a challenge in fast-reactor design some of the constraints of plant design which may result from considerations of leak behaviour and practical limitations in leak detection are ...

An inhouse code for simulating heat recovery from boilers to heat water

Energy, 2018
Abstract The current tendency in energy domain is to reduce fuel consumption in favor of sustainable energy approaches. In this frame, the present work suggests an efficient way of heat recovery from boilers using concentric tube. The motivation behind the suggested concept is that it could be considered the cheapest, easiest to construct and ...
