Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.

Ratiometric Mycotoxin Detection in Living Plants With Dual‐Emissive Nanosensors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A minimally invasive microneedle patch integrates carbon dot‐embedded metal–organic frameworks as nanosensors to detect a key fungal toxin in living plants. The nanosensor produces a ratiometric fluorescence signal that enables early, non‐destructive diagnosis of fungal infection before visible symptoms, offering a new biomaterials‐based strategy for ...

Anisotropic Masked Mycobacterium Potentiates Amplified Antitumor Trained Immunity via Spleen Targeting and Myelopoiesis Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An engineered Trojan Mycobacterium, developed via a “peeling‐off and masking‐up” strategy, functions as a powerful splenic myelopoiesis converter. This spleen‐targeted nanomedicine induces trained immunity to reprogram immunosuppressive myeloid reservoirs into antitumoral effectors.

The occurrence of a heat exchange crisis of the first kind on a verticalsteam-generating pipe during the evaporation of salt solutions

open access: yesVestnik MGTU
A heat exchange crisis of the first kind occurs on the steam-generating tube of the evaporator during an abrupt transition from nucleate boiling to film boiling, when a steam film is formed along the heat-exchange surface, worsening the heat transfer ...
