Walks of bubbles on a hot wire in a liquid bath [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
When a horizontal resistive wire is heated up to the boiling point in a subcooled liquid bath, some vapor bubbles nucleate on its surface. Traditional nucleate boiling theory predicts that bubbles generated from active nucleate sites, grow up and depart from the heating surface due to buoyancy and inertia. However, we observed here a different behavior:

A Systematic Procedure for the Assessment of the Thermal Safety and for the Design of Chemical Processes at the Boiling Point [PDF]

open access: yesCHIMIA, 1993
A systematic procedure is presented for application in designing safe processes or in assessing safety of existing processes that are performed at or could reach the boiling point.

Equation of state and phase transitions in asymmetric nuclear matter [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Rev.C64:024315,2001; Eur.Phys.J.A38:345-354,2008, 2001
The structure of the 3-dimension pressure-temperature-asymmetry surface of equilibrium of the asymmetric nuclear matter is studied within the thermal Thomas-Fermi approximation. Special attention is paid to the difference of the asymmetry parameter between the boiling sheet and that of the condensation sheet of the surface of equilibrium. We derive the

Integrating Molecular Dynamics Simulations and Experimental Data for Azeotrope Predictions in Binary Mixtures [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
An azeotrope is a constant boiling point mixture, and its behavior is important for fluid separation processes. Predicting azeotropes from atomistic simulations is difficult, due to the complexities and convergence problems in Monte Carlo and free-energy perturbation techniques.

Experimental Determination Of The Boiling Point Of Tomato Paste [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
The boiling point is the main indicator of the concentration of tomato paste, which characterizes the state of equilibrium of systems at certain pressures in the apparatus; at constant pressure, the boiling point of the solution depends on its ...

Competence and safety of digital environment consumption by children and parents

open access: yesЦифровая социология, 2022
Today we are witnessing the active introduction of information technologies in all spheres of life, which has led to an increase and reproduction of the digitalisation risks. This requires the state to form a society with high digital literacy.

Minimum Zagreb Eccentricity Indices of Two-Mode Network with Applications in Boiling Point and Benzenoid Hydrocarbons

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
A two-mode network is a type of network in which nodes can be divided into two sets in such a way that links can be established between different types of nodes. The relationship between two separate sets of entities can be modeled as a bipartite network.

Weighted Wiener Indices of Molecular Graphs with Application to Alkenes and Alkadienes

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
There exist many topological indices that are calculated on saturated hydrocarbons since they can be easily modelled by simple graphs. On the other hand, it is more challenging to investigate topological indices for hydrocarbons with multiple bonds.
