Illustration of the relative speed with which a large chemical space of bicyclic dienes can be screened for molecular solar thermal energy storage candidates. Density Functional Theory (DFT) is as illustrated not a feasible route due to computational cost, while extended tight binding (xTB) methods are much faster and can give estimates.

The effects of Avemar treatment on feline immunodeficiency virus infected cell cultures

The antiviral effect of a fermented wheat germ extract, named Avemar, was tested in vitro in the feline AIDS model. In a dose‐dependent manner, Avemar inhibited the replication of both European and American FIV strains in feline lymphoid cell cultures.

Improvement in subgrade soil has always been an area of concern for highway and geotechnical engineers. Weak subgrade soil results in a greater thickness of the pavement layer, which increases the cost of pavement construction. It further leads to large deformations, which in turn cause continuous deterioration of the paved surface.
