Relationship between continuous infusion meropenem PK/PD target attainment and C‐reactive protein dynamics in onco‐haematologic patients with febrile neutropenia

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Aim Meropenem is a second‐line antimicrobial agent in the treatment of febrile neutropenia in onco‐haematological patients. A population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) analysis for assessing the relationship between meropenem exposure and C‐reactive protein (C‐RP) over time was conducted.

Loss, persistence and reversal of phenotypic traits

open access: yesBiological Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The irreversibility of complex trait loss has long been a tenet of evolutionary biology. However, this idea is increasingly at odds with the numerous documented exceptions across the Tree of Life. We synthesise this growing body of evidence across a diverse array of taxa and traits, exploring the evolutionary conditions that enable ...

Stakeholder Engagement as a Design Principle: Orchestrating a Digital Platform for the Safety and Sustainability of the Nanomaterials Sector

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The governance of chemicals and nanomaterials presents a critical challenge, as significant uncertainties regarding safety and sustainability match their innovation potential. This creates a “knowledge‐to‐action” gap, hindering the practical implementation of safety and sustainability by design (SSbD) principles.
