The impact of the Sorbonne‐Bologna declaration on legal education in Norway

Legal education is offered in three of the four universities in Norway‐Oslo, Bergen and Tromso. It takes six years. The Government has now decided to cut this to five years and name the degree a Master's Degree. This is being done partly to fit in with the recommended model drawn up in the Sorbonne‐Bologna process.
