Scalable Room‐Temperature Terahertz Graphene Cameras

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Terahertz (THz) imaging has emerged as a powerful tool for non‐destructive, label‐free analysis across several scientific disciplines, ranging from materials science to biomedical research. By capturing the spatial‐dependent information in a broad range of frequencies, this technique enables the identification of chemical composition ...

High/low temperature setups for submillimetric samples under various extreme conditions at the AILES beamline

open access: yesJournal of Synchrotron Radiation, EarlyView.
Two complementary high‐ and low‐temperature experimental setups have been developed at the AILES beamline of Synchrotron SOLEIL to enable infrared and terahertz spectroscopy of submillimetric samples under extreme and well controlled pressure and temperature conditions (from 10 K to 600 K and from vacuum up to 100 GPa).

Enhanced Terahertz Thermoelectricity Via Engineered Van Hove Singularities and Nernst Effect in Moiré Superlattices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 50, 22 June 2026.
Moiré band engineering in graphene/hexagonal boron nitride–based superlattices unlocks van Hove singularities (VHSs) for terahertz (THz) optoelectronics. Tuning the Fermi level near these singularities, associated with secondary neutrality points (SNPs), enhances the photothermoelectric response.

Self‐Sustained Oscillations in MoS2 Optomechanical Resonators for VHF Optical Radio

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 6, June 2026.
This work demonstrates the use of 2D materials drum resonators to generate and modulate radio‐over‐laser signals. Taking advantage of the self‐sustained oscillations arising in cavity optomechanical systems by a continuous wave visible laser, a radio frequency signal is generated and frequency‐modulated by just changing a DC gate voltage.

Radiation measurement in plasma disruption by thin-foil infrared bolometer

open access: yes, 2021
A thin-foil infrared bolometer has been developed to measure the plasma radiation quantitatively during plasma disruptions in the KSTAR tokamak. We present analytic solutions of a 0D heat transfer model, which enable the estimation of the plasma ...

The Construction of the Fast Resistive Bolometer for a SXR Measurement on the GIT-12 Facility

open access: yesActa Polytechnica, 2013
A lot of kinds of instruments are used for the SXR measurement at pulsed power facilities, but most of them are difficult to calibrate absolutely. For the determination of the energy of SXR radiated by the discharge on Z-pinches, it is possible to use ...
