The Non-Classical Boltzmann Equation, and Diffusion-Based Approximations to the Boltzmann Equation
We show that several diffusion-based approximations (classical diffusion or SP1, SP2, SP3) to the linear Boltzmann equation can (for an infinite, homogeneous medium) be represented exactly by a non-classical transport equation.

Velocity Tails for Inelastic Maxwell Models
We study the velocity distribution function for inelastic Maxwell models, characterized by a Boltzmann equation with constant collision rate, independent of the energy of the colliding particles. By means of a nonlinear analysis of the Boltzmann equation,

Slight Truncation Changes in Iron Oxide Nanocubes Strongly Affect Their Magnetic Properties
Subtle variations in nanoparticle morphology can lead to significant changes in functional properties. An automated shape‐fitting method captures minor differences in corner truncation between iron oxide nanocubes of similar sizes synthesized under identical conditions, revealing pronounced disparities in their magnetic and hyperthermia behavior ...

Stacking‐Engineered Magnonic Topology and Transport in Honeycomb Homobilayers
ABSTRACT Topological magnons have emerged as a promising platform for dissipationless bosonic transport. However, a straightforward and effective strategy to engineer such topological states in real materials has yet to be fully realized. Here, a general scheme for controlling magnonic topological states via stacking engineering in van der Waals ...
