A comparative study of applying Mason’s Rule in the case of flow-graphs and bond-graphs [PDF]
The paper presents two methods to analyzethe electric circuits using the flow-graphs and thebond-graphs studying the differences between thesemethods. As it can be noticed, the two methods are totallydifferent; their common point being Mason’s rule thatis

Fault Diagnosis Using Bond Graphs in an Expert System
A fault diagnosis method using bond graphs in an expert system is proposed for a reactor coolant system. Firstly, the time causality graph and the variable relationship graph are derived from the bond graph.

Atom-bond connectivity index and diameter of graphs
For further study of the numerous nice properties of topological indices in physical and chemical fields, it is worth considering the relation between a degree-based index and a distance-based index.

Implications of Spectral Interlacing for Quantum Graphs
Quantum graphs are ideally suited to studying the spectral statistics of chaotic systems. Depending on the boundary conditions at the vertices, there are Neumann and Dirichlet graphs.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Biophysical approaches for studying viral entry
Viruses infect all living organisms and have been responsible for major epidemics and pandemics. Their ongoing evolutionary battle with host defenses creates a constant need for improved tools to study viral behavior. Advancing methods to probe viral attachment, fusion, and genome release deepen our understanding of how infections begin and support the

Stable Set Bonding in Perfect Graphs and Parity Graphs
Let \(G_ 1= (V_ 1\cup S_ 1, E_ 1)\) and \(G_ 2= (V_ 2\cup S_ 2, E_ 2)\) be connected graphs which each have stable sets \(S_ 1\) (resp. \(S_ 2)\) of the same size. Let \(\Phi_ S\) be the operation which forms \(G= (V,E)\) from \(G_ 1\) and \(G_ 2\) by identification of \(S_ 1\) and \(S_ 2\), where \(S\subseteq V\) corresponds to \(S_ 1\) and \(S_ 2 ...

Model inversion of electrical engineering systems from bicausal bond graphs [PDF]
In this paper, the application of bicausal bond graphs for model inversion of typical electrical engineering systems is emphasised. Inverse models are particularly useful for the synthesis step of the system design process.
