Blood versus bone marrow methanol concentrations in rabbits

Forensic Science International, 1982
Postmortem methanol levels in bone marrow and heart blood were determined in rabbits. The average ratio of blood concentration to observed bone marrow concentration in 36 rabbits was 2.6 +/- 0.6 with a range of 1.5 to 4.2. Correcting for the lipid content of the bone marrow decreased the average ratio, reduced the ratio range and improved the ...

The early phase influence of bone marrow concentrate on metaphyseal bone healing

Injury, 2013
Bone marrow concentrate (BMC) contains high densities of progenitor cells. Therefore, in critical size defects BMC may have the potency to support bone healing. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of BMC in combination with calcium phosphate granules (CPG) on bone defect healing in a metaphyseal long bone defect in mini-pigs.

Bone Marrow Concentrate: a novel tool for bone repair!

2009
Background: Recently controversy has arisen regarding the role of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) in orthopaedic surgery with their potential clinical application in cartilage and bone regeneration. Although autologous bone grafting is still the “gold standard” to heal critical size bony defects, it is associated with significant donor site morbidity.

Concentrations of ciclosporin in allogeneic bone marrow recipients

Blut, 1987
Thirteen patients in complete remission from acute nonlymphoblastic leukaemia or in chronic phase of chronic myelocytic leukaemia were treated with total body irradiation, cyclophosphamide and allogeneic bone marrow transplantation (BMT). Ciclosporin (CS) was administered for the prevention and the treatment of Graft versus Host Disease.

Ciprofloxacin concentrations in serum, bone and bone marrow of rabbits.

Microbios, 1989
Ciprofloxacin concentrations were determined in serum, bone and bone marrow of rabbits. Four experimental groups of animals were examined: group A (n = 6) received a dosage of 60 mg/kg/day intramuscularly for 4 weeks, groups B (n = 6), C (n = 15) and D (n = 15) received dosages of 120 mg/kg/day subcutaneously for 2 days, 2 weeks, and 4 weeks ...

Androgens and erythropoiesis in bone marrow. II. Effect of testosterone propionate on59Fe concentration in erythrocytes and bone marrow

Experientia, 1970

[Concentrations of cefpiramide in the human bone marrow blood and bone tissues].

The Japanese journal of antibiotics, 1990
Cefpiramide (CPM) 2 g was preoperatively administered to 29 patients by intravenous drip infusion for 20 minutes. Concentrations of CPM in bone marrow blood, peripheral blood, and bone tissue were determined at 30, 60, 120, 180, 240 and 360 minutes after CPM administration.
