The cytoskeleton‐mediated transport of mitochondria via tunnelling nanotubes restores respiration, increases ATP production, rescues cells from apoptosis, activates the AKT/mTOR signalling pathway, promotes cell migration and invasiveness, contributes to cancer progression and treatment resistance.

Concentration of Rat Bone Marrow Nucleated Cells Using Hypo-osmotic Hemolysis in Distilled Water
Background: Bone marrow aspirates contain primarily red blood cells. To achieve efficient cell transplantation for regeneration, the red blood cells need to be removed from the aspirates.

Cutaneous Melanoma Drives Metabolic Changes in the Aged Bone Marrow Immune Microenvironment
Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, increasingly affects older adults. Our study reveals that melanoma induces changes in iron and lipid levels in the bone marrow, impacting immune cell populations and increasing susceptibility to ferroptosis.

Cartilage lesions of the knee are a frequent finding; however, treatment options that are capable of restoring hyaline-like tissue are not routinely used. Cell-based technology such as autologous chondrocyte implantation may in some cases provide durable

Concentration of cefoperazone (CPZ) in the bone marrow blood and the cancellous bone.
Concentrations of cefoperazone (CPZ) in the bone marrow blood and the cancellous bone were investigated by one shot intravenous injection of CPZ (2g) prior to surgery. Concentration in the bone marrow blood was highly elevated (156μg/ml) immediately after injection of CPZ and time dependently decreased, however the concentration was always higher than ...

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.
