Sustainable entrepreneurship and legitimacy building in protected areas: Overcoming distinctive barriers through activism

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, Volume 32, Issue 1, Page 72-95, January 2023., 2023
Abstract Sustainable entrepreneurs operating in protected areas face distinctive barriers that place additional emphasis on the need to build legitimacy. To date, how they do this has not been entirely explored. This paper addresses this need through an exploratory study of sustainable entrepreneurs in a transnational protected area.

Creating social and environmental value through integrated thinking: International evidence

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, Volume 32, Issue 1, Page 304-320, January 2023., 2023
Abstract Integrated thinking (IT) is a managerial mindset increasingly discussed in the context of value creation. Through the lens of systems theory, this study examines how the degree to which IT is embedded in a firm's strategy and day‐to‐day business processes is associated with the firm's social and environmental value creation.

On open books and embedding of smooth and contact manifolds [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
We discuss embedding of manifolds in the category of open books, contact manifolds and contact open books. We prove an open book version of the Haefliger--Hirsch embedding theorem by showing that every $k$-connected closed $n$-manifold ($n\geq 7$, $k < \frac{n-4}{2}$) admits an open book embedding in the trivial open book of $\mathbb{S}^{2n-k}$.

Perovskite Light‐Emitting Diodes with Quantum Wires and Nanorods

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review focuses on low‐dimensional perovskite materials and discusses their applications in light‐emitting diodes (LEDs). Special attention is given to the introduction of perovskite quantum wires and nanorods, two unique types of one‐dimensional (1D) materials, and their interesting optoelectronic properties.

On the page-number of a circulant graph

open access: yesAKCE International Journal of Graphs and Combinatorics
The page-number of a graph G, denoted by p(G), is the minimum k such that G has an embedding in a k-book. The circulant graph C(m, n) is such a graph that its vertex set is [Formula: see text] and edge set is [Formula: see text], where m, n are positive ...
