Boosting static pruning of inverted files

Proceedings of the 30th annual international ACM SIGIR conference on Research and development in information retrieval, 2007
This paper revisits the static term-based pruning technique presented in Carmel et al., SIGIR 2001 for ad-hoc retrieval, addressing different issues concerning its algorithmic design not yet taken into account. Although the original technique is able to retain precision when a considerable part of the inverted file is removed, we show that it is ...

Maximum Constant Boost Control of Four Switch Switched Boost Inverter

2020 International Conference on Futuristic Technologies in Control Systems & Renewable Energy (ICFCR), 2020
A new control strategy for the four switch switched boost inverter is presented in this paper. A quasi-switched boost inverter is modified in order to derive the inverter structure. A maximum constant boost control technique is suggested for the four switch switched boost inverter.

Coupled-Inductor Buck–Boost Inverter With Reduced Current Ripple

IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2020
This article presents novel buck–boost inverter using coupled inductors and half-cycle phase-shifted modulation. The effective switching frequency of the input inductors is twice the actual switching frequency of semiconductor switches.

Switched-boost-based multilevel inverters

Multilevel voltage source inverters/converters (ML-VSIs) with an integrated voltage-boosting feature have been popular in recent years as an interface between the provided low-magnitude DC voltage and standard 220V rms grid voltage. The voltage-boosting feature is achieved with an integrated switched-capacitor (SC) or a switched-boost (SB) technique ...

New Single-Stage Boost Multilevel Inverter

2019 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference (ITEC-India), 2019
In this paper, new single-stage boost multilevel inverter (MLI) is presented. A proposed 5-level basic unit is proposed, which is utilized for the construction of generalized symmetrical and asymmetrical configurations. The proposed topology provides high boost factor with reduced capacitor count and size. The design of 11-level inverter is explained in

A Family of PWM Control Strategies for Single-Phase Quasi-Switched-Boost Inverter

IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2019
This paper proposed a novel family of pulsewidth modulation (PWM) strategies for single-phase quasi-switched boost inverter (qSBI). By combining shoot-through (ST) mode in the inverter's switches and the turning-on state of an additional switch, the qSBI

A comparison between the buck, boost and buck-boost inverters

7th IEEE International Power Electronics Congress. Technical Proceedings. CIEP 2000 (Cat. No.00TH8529), 2002
In this paper, an analysis and experimental study of three kinds of inverters are presented. Beginning with the traditional full-bridge buck inverter; followed by two different inverter approaches, the boost and buck boost ones. These last two converters have the property of producing an output voltage higher or lower than the input voltage ...

Grid-Current Control of a Differential Boost Inverter With Hidden LCL Filters

IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2019
Single-phase differential boost inverter, built from two identical dc–dc boost converters, has been suggested as an alternative to the usual connection of a dc–dc boost converter to a standard full-bridge inverter. Some control schemes for controlling it
