A bootstrap approximation to Lp_statistic of kernel density estimator in length-biased model [PDF]
This article presents a bootstrap approximation to the Lp_statistics of kernel density estimator in length-biased model. Length-biased data arise in many situations, such as survival analysis, renewal processes and physics. The article establishes a bootstrap central limit theorem for the corresponding bootstrap version of this Lp_statistic.

This study investigates bidirectional introgression between Chinese and European pig populations, revealing 3558 introgressed genomic segments and 30 structural variations. Analysis of the BMP2 region suggests its role in body size enhancement. By integrating ancient and modern genomes, the study highlights the impact of introgression on genetic ...

Higher-order accuracy of multiscale-double bootstrap for testing regions [PDF]
We consider hypothesis testing for the null hypothesis being represented as an arbitrary-shaped region in the parameter space. We compute an approximate p-value by counting how many times the null hypothesis holds in bootstrap replicates. This frequency, known as bootstrap probability, is widely used in evolutionary biology, but often reported as ...

Relative errors for bootstrap approximations of the serial correlation coefficient
We consider the first serial correlation coefficient under an AR(1) model where errors are not assumed to be Gaussian. In this case it is necessary to consider bootstrap approximations for tests based on the statistic since the distribution of errors is ...

The genome of Megachile rotundata, an extensively managed solitary pollination bee species, has been sequenced, covering 280.68 Mb and predicting 10 701 genes. The study reveals significant expansions of the Toll gene family and their abundant expression in diapause prepupae, highlighting enhanced immune responses during diapause. This genome serves as

Evaluation of model‐based bioequivalence approach for single sample pharmacokinetic studies
In a traditional pharmacokinetic (PK) bioequivalence (BE) study, a two‐way crossover study is conducted, PK parameters (namely the area under the time‐concentration curve [AUC] and the maximal concentration [Cmax]) are obtained by noncompartmental ...

Salt stress endangers coastal cereal crops, requiring resilient crop solutions. This study employs machine learning (KANMB) to analyze multi‐omics data from halophyte Spartina alterniflora, revealing 226 salt‐stress biomarkers and linking them to tolerance pathways. The MYB gene SaMYB35 regulates flavonoid biosynthesis under salinity.

During different developmental stages of plants in natural Se–Cd coexisting soils, there is a group of rhizosphere microorganisms with highly dynamic abundance. The abundance variation of these microorganisms is strongly positively correlated with available Se and strongly negatively correlated with available Cd.
