Tris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borato molybdenum and tungsten nitrosyl mentholates

Journal of the Chemical Society, Dalton Transactions, 1992
The complex [M(NO)L*X2][L*= tris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borate; M = Mo, X = Cl or I; M = W, X = Cl] reacted with (+)- and (–)-menthol (C10H19OH) affording diastereomeric mixtures of [M(NO)L*(X)(OC10H19)]. These were separated by chromatography, and the structure of the diastereomer [Mo(NO)L*(Cl){(–)-OC10H19}] determined crystallographically.

Mono and dinuclear hydrotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borato tantalum complexes

Polyhedron, 2004
Abstract In an effort to obtain suitable starting materials, the synthesis and crystal structure of hydrotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borato (TpMe2) tantalum(III) complexes are reported. Reaction of KTpMe2 with [TaCl2(tht)]2(μ-Cl)2(μ-tht) (1) (tht=tetrahydrothiophene) gives the X-ray characterized unsymmetrical (TpMe2Ta)(TaCl3)(μ-Cl2)(μ-tht) (2) in ...

The chemistry of dinitrogen residues. Part 5. [Tris(pyrazolyl)borato]-complexes of titanium(III); the crystal structures of trimethylhydrazinium trichloro[tris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borato]titanate(III) and dichloro(3,5-dimethylpyrazole)[tris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borato]titanium(III)

Journal of the Chemical Society, Dalton Transactions, 1988
The reaction of trichloro[tris(pyrazolyl)borato]titanium(IV) with hydrazines yields titanium(IV) hydrazido(1–)-species, whereas the corresponding derivative of 3,5-dimethylpyrazole yields titanium(III) compounds which do not contain hydrazine residues.

Ligand Exchange Reactions and Hydroamination with Tris(oxazolinyl)borato Yttrium Compounds

Inorganic Chemistry, 2009
Ligand substitution reactions and catalytic hydroamination/cyclization of aminoalkenes have been studied with a new oxazolinylborato yttrium compound, tris(4,4-dimethyl-2-oxazolinyl)phenylborato bis(trimethylsilylmethyl)yttrium ([Y(kappa(3)-To(M))(CH(2)SiMe(3))(2)(THF)], 1).

ChemInform Abstract: The Chemistry of Dinitrogen Residues. Part 5. (Tris(pyrazolyl)borato) Complexes of Titanium(III): The Crystal Structures of Trimethylhydrazinium Trichloro(tris(3,5‐dimethylpyrazolyl)borato)titanate(III) and Dichloro(3,5‐dimethylpyrazole)(tris(3,5‐dimethylpyrazolyl)borato)titanium(III).

ChemInform, 1988
AbstractIn contrast to the reaction of cyclopentadienyl and (tris(pyrazolyl)borato)titanium(IV) chlorides with hydrazines which results in the formation of hydrazido titanium(IV) species the corresponding Ti(IV) complex (I) yields the title Ti(III) complexes (III) and (IV) (for (IV) no yield given).

Benzoato[hydrotris(3-phenylpyrazol-1-yl-N2)borato]zinc(II)

Acta Crystallographica Section C Crystal Structure Communications, 1995
The structure of the title complex, [Zn{HB(C 9 H 7 N 2 ) 3 }(C 7 H 5 O 2 )], has been determined ; the central Zn atom is coordinated in a distorted tetrahedral environment by three N atoms, one from each pyrazole ring [Zn-N 2.038(5)-2.084(5) A], and by a benzoate O atom [Zn-O 1.935 (5) A].

Structure of [hydrotris(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)borato]dipropyldithiocarbamatooxomolybdenum(IV)

Acta Crystallographica Section C Crystal Structure Communications, 1991

Paramagnetic nitrile complexes of tris{3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl}borato nitrosyl molybdenum

Polyhedron, 1996
Abstract The nitrile complexes [Mo(NO)Tp * I(NCR)] (R = Me, Pr n and CH 2 CH 2 -CH 2 CN), obtained by reaction of [Mo(NO)Tp * I 2 ] with the nitrile at room temperature, are paramagnetic (one unpaired electron), exhibiting characteristic EPR spectra and undergoing, electrochemically, an irreversible reduction process.
