What Do Lithics Tell Us About Cultural Evolution? Insights From the Central African Record
ABSTRACT While Western historical narratives often incorporate a biased vision of human evolution—driven by a progressive view tied to a progressively evolving state of culture—this paper proposes combining archaeological lithic data with epistemological reflections to critique the modern regime of historicity, where progress is assumed as rational ...

DERIVATIVE OF SET MEASURE FUNCTIONS AND ITS APPLICATION (THEORETICAL BASES OF INVESTMENT OBJECTIVES)
Purpose. It is necessary to develop the theoretical fundamentals for solving the investment objectives presented in the form of set function as vector optimization tasks or tasks of constrained extremum. Methodology.

Additive families of Borel sets
This master thesis focuses on the existence of σ-discrete refinement of point countable Borel additive systems in complete metric spaces. In the first three chapters we deal with the lower Borel classes, namely Gδ-additive, Fσ-additive and Fσδ-additive ...

Internal descriptions of absolute Borel classes
We present internal descriptions of spaces of absolute Borel classes with respect to Tychonoff spaces. Complete sequences of covers is the basic tool for this description.

ABSTRACT The prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) increases during pregnancy and is associated with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), although its clinical impact on birth outcomes remains unclear. We aimed to assess the effect of several OSA criteria and intermittent hypoxia in the third trimester on perinatal outcomes in women with GDM.

Spatial depth for data in metric spaces
Abstract We propose a novel measure of statistical depth, the metric spatial depth, for data residing in an arbitrary metric space. The measure assigns high (low) values for points located near (far away from) the bulk of the data distribution, allowing quantifying their centrality/outlyingness.

On the Quot scheme QuotSl(E)$\mathrm{Quot}^{l}_{\mathrm{S}}(\mathcal {E})$
Abstract We study the geometry of the Quot scheme QuotSl(E)$\operatorname{Quot}^{l}_{\mathrm{S}}(\mathcal {E})$ of length l$l$ coherent sheaf quotients of a locally free sheaf E$\mathcal {E}$ on a smooth projective surface S$\mathrm{S}$. In particular, we investigate the nature of its singularities, its intersection theory, and the cohomology of ...

Motivic mirror symmetry and χ$\chi$‐independence for Higgs bundles in arbitrary characteristic
Abstract We prove that the (twisted orbifold) motives of the moduli spaces of SLn$\mathrm{SL}_n$ and PGLn$\mathrm{PGL}_n$‐Higgs bundles of coprime rank and degree on a smooth projective curve over an algebraically closed field in which the rank is invertible are isomorphic in Voevodsky's triangulated category of motives.

A locally Convex Topology on the Beurling Algebras
Introduction Let G be a locally compact group with a fixed left Haar measure λ and be a weight function on G; that is a Borel measurable function with for all . We denote by the set of all measurable functions such that ; the group algebra of
