Solar neutrino physics with Borexino [PDF]

open access: yesSciPost Physics Proceedings, 2019
We present the most recent solar neutrino results from the Borexino experiment at the Gran Sasso underground laboratory. In particular, refined measurements of all neutrinos produced in the {\it pp} fusion chain have been made.

Investigating Sterile Neutrino Flux in the Solar Neutrino Data

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2019
There are compelling evidences for the existence of a fourth degree of freedom of neutrinos, i.e., sterile neutrino. In the recent studies the role of sterile component of neutrinos has been found to be crucial, not only in particle physics, but also in ...

Studying the Earth with Geoneutrinos

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2013
Geoneutrinos, electron antineutrinos from natural radioactive decays inside the Earth, bring to the surface unique information about our planet. The new techniques in neutrino detection opened a door into a completely new interdisciplinary field of ...

Solar Neutrinos [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2013, Issue 1, 2013., 2012
The study of solar neutrinos has given since ever a fundamental contribution both to astroparticle and to elementary particle physics, offering an ideal test of solar models and offering at the same time relevant indications on the fundamental ...

Solving the solar neutrino problem with kamLAND and BOREXINO [PDF]

open access: green, 2002
We analyze the expected signals of two future neutrino experiments, kamLAND and BOREXINO. We show that with just these experiments, we will hopefully be able to determine which of the existing solutions to the solar neutrino problem is the real solution.

Jovian Signal at BOREXINO [PDF]

open access: greenPhysical Review D
The BOREXINO experiment has been collecting solar neutrino data since 2007, providing the opportunity to study the variation of the event rate over a decade. We find that at 96% C.L., the rate of low energy events shows a time modulation favoring a correlation with a flux from Jupiter.

Recent results from Borexino on solar neutrinos [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2023
Borexino has been a neutrino detector based on ultrapure liquid scintillator, located at the Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso, Italy. Its main scientific goal was the real-time measurement of solar neutrino fluxes, which play an irreplaceable role for
