Born–Infeld condensate as a possible origin of neutrino masses and dark energy
We discuss the possibility that a Born–Infeld condensate coupled to neutrinos can generate both neutrino masses and an effective cosmological constant.

Manifest Duality in Born–Infeld Theory [PDF]
Born–Infeld theory is formulated using an infinite set of gauge fields, along the lines of McClain, Wu and Yu. In this formulation electromagnetic duality is generated by a fully local functional. The resulting consistency problems are analyzed and the formulation is shown to be consistent.

Anisotropic Born-Infeld Cosmologies
Anisotropic cosmological spacetimes are constructed from spherically symmetric solutions to Einstein's equations coupled to nonlinear electrodynamics and a positive cosmological constant. This is accomplished by finding solutions in which the roles of $r$ and $t$ are interchanged for all $r>0$ (i.e.

An analysis of Born–Infeld determinantal gravity in Weitzenböck spacetime
The Born–Infeld theory of the gravitational field formulated in Weitzenböck spacetime is studied in detail. The action, constructed quadratically upon the torsion two-form, reduces to Einstein gravity in the low field limit where the Born–Infeld constant

Born-Infeld Black Holes in (A)dS Spaces
We study some exact solutions in a $D(\ge4)$-dimensional Einstein-Born-Infeld theory with a cosmological constant. These solutions are asymptotically de Sitter or anti-de Sitter, depending on the sign of the cosmological constant.

Gravity à la Born–Infeld [PDF]
A simple technique for the construction of gravity theories in Born-Infeld style is presented, and the properties of some of these novel theories are investigated. They regularize the positive energy Schwarzschild singularity, and a large class of models allows for the cancellation of ghosts.

A type of Born-Infeld regular gravity and its cosmological consequences
Born-Infeld deformation strategy to smooth theories having divergent solutions is applied to the teleparallel equivalent of General Relativity. The equivalence between teleparallelism and General Relativity is exploited to obtain a deformed theory of ...

Topologically nontrivial black holes in Lovelock-Born-Infeld gravity
We present the black hole solutions possessing horizon with nonconstant-curvature and additional scalar restrictions on the base manifold in Lovelock gravity coupled to Born-Infeld (BI) nonlinear electrodynamics.

Two-field Born–Infeld with diverse dualities
We elaborate on how to build, in a systematic fashion, two-field Abelian extensions of the Born–Infeld Lagrangian. These models realize the non-trivial duality groups that are allowed in this case, namely U(2), SU(2) and U(1)×U(1).

Four dimensional supersymmetric theories in presence of a boundary
In this paper, we study N=1 supersymmetric theories in four dimensions in presence of a boundary. We demonstrate that it is possible to preserve half the supersymmetry of the original theory by suitably modifying it in presence of a boundary.
