Buchwalter‐Schmets theorems and linear topologies

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 22, Issue 1, Page 13-16, 1999., 1999
In this paper, we obtain Buchwalter‐Schmets theorems in the realm of Lefschetz linearly topologized spaces.

Relations between exponential laws for spaces of C∞‐functions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 20, Issue 2, Page 209-218, 1997., 1995
In this paper we prove that some new as well as some already existing exponential laws for spaces of C∞‐ and holomorphic functions can all be generated from one general exponential law.

Mackey convergence and quasi‐sequentially webbed spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 14, Issue 1, Page 17-26, 1991., 1991
The problem of characterizing those locally convex spaces satisfying the Mackey convergence condition is still open. Recently in [4], a partial description was given using compatible webs. In this paper, those results are extended by using quasi‐sequentially webbed spaces (see Definition 1).

Twisted K-theory, K-homology and bivariant Chern-Connes type character of some infinite dimensional spaces

open access: yes, 2013
We study the twisted K-theory and K-homology of some infinite dimensional spaces, like SU(\infty), in the bivariant setting. Using a general procedure due to Cuntz we construct a bivariant K-theory on the category of separable \sigma-C^*-algebras that ...

Cyclic homology for bornological coarse spaces [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Homotopy and Related Structures, 2020
AbstractThe goal of the paper is to define Hochschild and cyclic homology for bornological coarse spaces, i.e., lax symmetric monoidal functors $${{\,\mathrm{\mathcal {X}HH}\,}}_{}^G$$ X HH G and $${{\,\mathrm{\mathcal {X}HC}\,}}_{}^G$$ X HC G from the category $$G\mathbf {BornCoarse}$$ G BornCoarse of equivariant bornological ...

A comparison of Hochschild homology in algebraic and smooth settings

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 57, Issue 4, Page 1249-1269, April 2025.
Abstract Consider a complex affine variety V∼$\tilde{V}$ and a real analytic Zariski‐dense submanifold V$V$ of V∼$\tilde{V}$. We compare modules over the ring O(V∼)$\mathcal {O} (\tilde{V})$ of regular functions on V∼$\tilde{V}$ with modules over the ring C∞(V)$C^\infty (V)$ of smooth complex valued functions on V$V$.

Ultraregular inductive limits

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 13, Issue 1, Page 51-54, 1990., 1988
An inductive limit E = indlim En is ultraregular if it is regular and each set B ⊂ En, which is bounded in E, is also bounded in En. A necessary and sufficient condition for ultraregularity of E is given provided each En is an LF‐space which is closed in En+1.

A New Approach to Mappings in L,M-Fuzzy Bornological Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics
In this paper, the definitions of bounded mappings, bounded perverse mappings, and coarse mappings between L,M-fuzzy bornological spaces are proposed. The properties and relationships of them are studied. Moreover, the relationships among bounded mapping,
