Modelling Climate Change Impact on Rice Growth and Yield in Northwest Bangladesh
ABSTRACT Assessing the impact of climate change is crucial for addressing the challenges of sustaining and increasing rice production. This study employed the APSIM model driven by climate data from 27 global climate models under SSP245 and SSP585 emission scenarios to evaluate climate change effects on irrigated and rainfed rice in three key rice ...

Herbariomics and the peculiar case of Alisma wahlenbergii (Alismataceae)
Abstract Species identification and delimitation in aquatic plants can be challenging due to their often simple, plastic, and convergent morphology. This has led to varying taxonomic opinions in many genera, including Alisma. One debated case is the narrowly endemic A. wahlenbergii, which occurs submerged in the Baltic Sea region.

Fine-grained dual-phase high-entropy ceramics derived from boro/carbothermal reduction
In the current work fine-grained dual-phase, high-entropy ceramics (Ti0.2Zr0.2Hf0.2Nb0.2Ta0.2)B2-(Ti0.2Zr0.2Hf0.2Nb0.2Ta0.2)C with different phase ratios are prepared from powders synthesized via a boro/carbothermal reduction approach, by adjusting the

Abstract Novel compositionally complex borides, (Hf,Zr,Nb,Ti)B2 and (Hf,Zr,Nb,Ti)B2‒LaB6, were fabricated using spark plasma sintering process. (Hf,Zr,Nb,Ti)B2‒LaB6 exhibits a dual‐phase microstructure, in which (Hf,Zr,Nb,Ti)B2 is a primary phase with the hexagonal structure and LaB6 is a secondary phase with a cubic structure.

Structural and optical properties of compensated microcrystalline silicon films [PDF]
Boron-doped microcrystalline silicon films were deposited in a plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) system using silane (SiH4) diluted in hydrogen, and diborane (B2H6) as a dopant gas.

Conceptual Modelling and The Quality of Ontologies: Endurantism Vs. Perdurantism
Ontologies are key enablers for sharing precise and machine-understandable semantics among different applications and parties. Yet, for ontologies to meet these expectations, their quality must be of a good standard.

Phase Composition‐Controlled Synthesis, Microstructure, and Properties of TiB2–TiC Composite
TiB2–TiC composite powders were synthesized via the boron/carbon thermal reduction. A comprehensive investigation of the reaction mechanism was conducted, leading to the construction of a phase diagram that served as a guideline for formula development.
