An integrated polarimetry architecture based on a cholesteric liquid crystal waveguide polarization splitter overcomes the volumetric bottleneck in chip‐scale atomic magnetometers. By leveraging Bragg‐selective reflection and total‐internal‐reflection‐induced helicity inversion, this ultrathin device enables efficient circular polarization splitting ...

Microgels enable independent control of stiffness and interstitial space, overcoming limitations of conventional 3D hydrogels. Using fragmented gelatin methacryloyl microgels, we show that stiffness does not restrict non‐metastatic breast cancer growth, contrary to bulk hydrogels, and reveal the role of adherent‐to‐suspension transition in cancer ...

Multifunctional Quantum Sensing Using Single Spins in a van der Waals Crystal
The work demonstrates a dual quantum sensing of temperature and magnetic field using spin‐complex quantum emitters in hexagonal boron nitride (hBN). Temperature sensing via zero‐phonon‐line shifts and magnetometry via optically detected magnetic resonances, enable simultaneous local thermometry and magnetic‐field measurements.

From Materials to Systems: Challenges and Solutions for Fast‐Charge/Discharge Na‐Ion Batteries
This review systematically analyzes the key characteristics limiting the fast‐charge/discharge capability of Na‐ion batteries (SIBs) from a multi‐scale perspective encompassing electrode materials, the electrode‐electrolyte interface, and the system. Furthermore, it presents practical solution strategies for the fundamental issues arising at each scale,

Protic molecules containing strong O─H or N─H bonds typically resist hydrogen‐atom abstraction because of the high reactivity of the resulting heteroatom‐centered radicals. However, association of the protic molecules with redox‐active Lewis acids can provide powerful hydrogen‐atom donors or proton‐coupled‐electron‐transfer reagents.
