Van der Waals Heterostructures for Next‐Generation Spintronics: Multiferroic‐Mediated Magnetoelectric Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
As CMOS technology approaches fundamental energy limits, new paradigms for low‐power information processing are required. Magnetic systems are attractive for their spin transport, yet current‐induced magnetization control is energy inefficient. Multiferroic heterostructures enable energy‐efficient electric field manipulation of magnetism.

Efficient Cholesteric Liquid Crystal Waveguide Polarizing Splitters for High‐Sensitivity Chip‐Scale Atomic Magnetometry

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An integrated polarimetry architecture based on a cholesteric liquid crystal waveguide polarization splitter overcomes the volumetric bottleneck in chip‐scale atomic magnetometers. By leveraging Bragg‐selective reflection and total‐internal‐reflection‐induced helicity inversion, this ultrathin device enables efficient circular polarization splitting ...

Insights Into the Nature of Quantum Emitters in Electron‐Irradiated Hexagonal Boron Nitride

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Hyperspectral imaging is used to identify quantum emitters hosted by the 2D material hexagonal boron nitride. By selecting specific emission wavelengths, one can distinguish individual emitters from ensembles and gain important insights into the atomic structure of these emitters.

Space Jam‐Ming: Generating Interstitial Space Using Fragmented Granular GelMA to Investigate Novel Paradigms of Cancer Metastasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Microgels enable independent control of stiffness and interstitial space, overcoming limitations of conventional 3D hydrogels. Using fragmented gelatin methacryloyl microgels, we show that stiffness does not restrict non‐metastatic breast cancer growth, contrary to bulk hydrogels, and reveal the role of adherent‐to‐suspension transition in cancer ...
