A theoretical study of thermal conductivity in single-walled boron nitride nanotubes
We perform a theoretical investigation on the thermal conductivity of single-walled boron nitride nanotubes (SWBNT) using the kinetic theory. By fitting to the phonon spectrum of boron nitride sheet, we develop an efficient and stable Tersoff-derived ...

Spontaneous polarization and piezoelectricity in boron nitride nanotubes
Ab initio calculations of the spontaneous polarization and piezoelectric properties of boron nitride nanotubes show that they are excellent piezoelectric systems with response values larger than those of piezoelectric polymers.

Selective Sequestration of Toxic NOx Gases by P‐Doped Graphene: A Density Functional Theory Study
P‐doped graphene (P‐grap) is explored as an NOx sensor through DFT simulations. The analysis of its geometry, binding energies, electronic properties, and atom‐in‐molecule characteristics demonstrates that P‐grap is a selective sensor for NOx among a mixture of various gases.
