Surgical Removal of a Tick‐Bite Region Without the Presence of an Insect Body
Surgical excision of a tick‐bite lesion revealed retained mouthparts despite the absence of a visible tick body. Dermoscopy demonstrated chelicerae imprints, and histopathology confirmed the presence of residual tick structures. This case highlights the combined diagnostic value of dermoscopy and histopathology in cases where the tick body is not found.

Positive serology titres for Neospora caninum in the absence of appropriate clinical signs is not diagnostic for protozoal disease. Acute deterioration while immunosuppressed should raise concerns over reactivation of encysted protozoa, particularly in dogs with a history of raw feeding. Successful management of N. caninum appears possible but requires

ABSTRACT Introduction Lyme neuroborreliosis (NB), is caused by tick‐borne spirochetes in the Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato (Bbsl) genospecies complex. Although the clinical manifestations of NB in adults and children are well documented, understanding neurobiological differences between these groups can improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment ...

Skin Diseases in Long‐Distance Runners
Long‐distance/trails runners often experience various skin manifestations due to prolonged physical activity and environmental exposure (sun, heat, altitude, cold air, etc.). Common issues include blisters, chafing, calluses, nail dystrophy, and sunburn. Acne mechanica and fungal infections are also frequent due to sweat and occlusion. Proper skin care,
