Biotropica, Volume 58, Issue 2, March 2026.We report the first confirmed record of an ocelot (Leopardus pardalis) dragging a newborn calf in a degraded forest fragment of southeastern Brazil. Using camera trap records, we reveal an opportunistic foraging event involving a vulnerable domestic prey within a highly fragmented landscape.
