Ideal Bose Gas in Higher Dimensions [PDF]

open access: yesمجلة جامعة النجاح للأبحاث العلوم الطبيعية, 2008
Some physical properties of the behavior of an ideal non- relativistic Bose gas in N – dimensional space are theoretically investigated. The general analytic expressions of the critical temperature Tc of Bose – Einstein condensation, and the high ...

Directional Flow of Confined Polaritons in CrSBr

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
CrSBr, a layered magnetic semiconductor, naturally channels self‐hybridized excitonpolaritons into highly directional flow. Its intrinsic optical anisotropy, high refractive index, and strong lightmatter coupling enable long‐range guided modes along the a‐axis, with propagation lengths set by their excitonphoton admixture.

Complete Bose–Einstein Condensation in the Gross–Pitaevskii Regime [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We consider a gas of N bosons in a box with volume one interacting through a two-body potential with scattering length of order $${N^{-1}}$$N-1 (Gross–Pitaevskii limit).

Strong Plasmon–Exciton Coupling Tuned by Corner Etching of Gold Nanocubes and Nanotriangles

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Systematic etching of gold nanocubes (AuNCs) and nanotriangles (AuNTs) reveals how nanoparticle morphology governs plasmon–exciton strong coupling. While rounding the corners of AuNCs weakens their coupling, triangular geometries robustly preserve deep strong coupling.

Bose-Einstein Condensation in Financial Systems

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis, 2005
We describe financial systems as condensates, similar to Bose-Einstein condensates, and calculate equilibrium statistical distributions following from the model.

Photon‐Sphere Modes in Curved Optical Microcavities: A Black‐Hole Analogue Laser

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An optical analogue of a Schwarzschild black hole is realized using curved microcavities that preserve light‐like geodesics. A new family of laser modes confined around the photon sphere is identified alongside conventional whispering‐gallery modes. Analytical theory, numerical simulations, and experiments reveal curvature‐induced confinement, enabling

On the dynamics of cosmological phase transition during Bose–Einstein condensation of dark matter in Barrow entropy-based cosmology

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
Throughout the cosmic evolution of the Universe, when the temperature of a boson gas drops below a certain threshold, the Bose–Einstein condensation phenomenon may occur.

Recent Advances in Photonic Bound States in the Continuum: From Fundamentals to Engineering and Implementation

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
This review summarizes recent progress in meta‐photonics with a focus on bound states in the continuum (BICs) as a powerful platform for light confinement and control. It covers fundamental concepts, design strategies across optical regimes, symmetry breaking for practical quasi‐BICs, tunable and AI‐assisted BIC devices, and emerging applications in ...

Dynamics of cosmological phase crossover during Bose–Einstein condensation of dark matter in Tsallis cosmology

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
During the cosmic evolution process, as the temperature of a cosmological boson gas falls below a certain threshold, a Bose–Einstein condensation process can occur at various points throughout the cosmic history of the Universe.

Bose condensation in (random) traps

open access: yesCondensed Matter Physics, 2009
We study a non-interacting (perfect) Bose-gas in random external potentials (traps). It is shown that a generalized Bose-Einstein condensation in the random eigenstates manifests if and only if the same occurs in the one-particle kinetic-energy ...
