Simple criterion for the occurrence of Bose-Einstein condensation and the Meissner-Ochsenfeld effect

open access: yes, 1997
We examine the occurrence of Bose-Einstein condensation in both nonrelativistic and relativistic systems with no self-interactions in a general setting. A simple condition for the occurrence of Bose-Einstein condensation is given.

Coordinate‐ and Spacetime‐Independent Quantum Physics

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 538, Issue 1, January 2026.
This article studies in the framework of quantum field theory in curved spacetime, if there exists a single zero‐rank‐tensor solution of a Klein‐Gordon PDE, being valid at once for the depicted spacetimes. The answer is shown to be affirmative, even for a class of such solutions having the standard applications in particle physics. ABSTRACT The concept

Monolayer J‐Aggregate Crystals Strong Coupling with an All‐Dielectric Metasurface for Photonic Properties Modification

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 20, Issue 2, 22 January 2026.
The monolayer J‐aggregate PTCDI‐C13, grown on thin hBN, is transferred to an all‐dielectric metasurface to achieve strong coupling between optical modes (GMRs and qBICs) and Frenkel excitons. With low losses in both microcavities and excitons, a Rabi splitting of 78 meV is observed in both reflectance and photoluminescence k‐space maps, enabling ...

The Canonical Perfect Bose Gas in Casimir Boxes

open access: yes, 2004
We study the problem of Bose-Einstein condensation in the perfect Bose gas in the canonical ensemble, in anisotropically dilated rectangular parallelpipeds (Casimir boxes).

Time‐Domain Visualization of Electron‐Phonon Coupling in Nanographenes

open access: yesSmall Methods, Volume 10, Issue 2, 22 January 2026.
Impulsive vibrational spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and density functional theory calculations are gathered together to unveil elusive low‐frequency collective vibrational modes in dibenzo[hi,st]ovalene nanographenes, enabling the detailed comparison between vibrational modes in derivatives with different peripheral groups.

Standing waves of Schrödinger equation with constant magnetic field and combined power nonlinearities

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 58, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract We study standing waves of the Schrödinger equation with constant magnetic field and combined power nonlinearities, which describes a single non‐relativistic quantum particle in the presence of an electromagnetic field. We develop the local minima geometry method to establish the existence, estimates and mass collapse results for this equation,

Bose — Einstein Condensation

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2005
This article gives a brief review of Bose‐Einstein condensation. It is an exotic quantum phenomenon that was observed in dilute atomic gases for the first time in 1995. It exhibits a new state of matter in which a group of atoms behaves as a single particle. Experiments on this form of matter are relevant to many different areas of physics‐ from atomic

Harmonic analysis on Cayley Trees II: the Bose Einstein condensation

open access: yes, 2012
We investigate the Bose-Einstein Condensation on non homogeneous non amenable networks for the model describing arrays of Josephson junctions on perturbed Cayley Trees. The resulting topological model has also a mathematical interest in itself.

Strongly Coupled Exciton–Hyperbolic‐Phonon‐Polariton Hybridized States in hBN‐Encapsulated Biased Bilayer Graphene

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 13, Issue 35, December 12, 2025.
Excitons in biased bilayer graphene are electrically tunable excitations in the mid‐infrared (MIR) spectrum, where optical transitions are typically scarce. In this work, it is demonstrated that when the bilayer is encapsulated in hexagonal‐boron‐nitride (hBN)—a material supporting optical phonons and hyperbolic‐phonon‐polaritons (HPhPs) in the MIR—the

Supercurrents and Tunneling in Massive Many‐Vortex Necklaces and Star‐Lattices

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 537, Issue 12, December 2025.
It is numerically shown how massive many‐vortex systems, in a mixture of Bose–Einstein condensates, can host the bosonic tunneling of the infilling component in an almost‐periodic way when the vortices are organized in necklaces or star‐lattices. The purpose is to explore the conditions for the onset of Josephson supercurrents in rotating many‐vortex ...
