COLOR RECONNECTION AND BOSE-EINSTEIN CORRELATIONS AT LEP2 [PDF]
Recent investigations of final state interactions of W+W- events in e+e- collisions up to center of mass energies sqrt{S}=189GeV at LEP2 are reviewed. The data were used to look for color reconnection and Bose-Einstein correlations between the two color singlets of fully hadronic W events.

Inter-W Bose-Einstein Correlations ... or Not? [PDF]
A critical summary is given of the present status of the study of Bose-Einstein Correlations in W-pair production at LEP II. In particular, the evidence is reviewed for or against the existence of Bose-Einstein correlations between pions originating both

Bose-Einstein correlations and isospin
Abstract Bose-Einstein correlations between pions are analysed in terms of isospin. The lack of Bose-Einstein correlation between π + and π 0 is explicitly demonstrated.

Beyond Gibbs-Boltzmann-Shannon: General Entropies -- The Gibbs-Lorentzian Example
We propose a generalisation of Gibbs' statistical mechanics into the domain of non-negligible phase space correlations. Derived are the probability distribution and entropy as a generalised ensemble average, replacing Gibbs-Boltzmann-Shannon's entropy ...

Observation of grand-canonical number statistics in a photon Bose-Einstein condensate
We report measurements of particle number correlations and fluctuations of a photon Bose-Einstein condensate in a dye microcavity using a Hanbury Brown-Twiss experiment.

DYNAMICS OF BOSE-EINSTEIN CONDENSATE WITH ACCOUNT OF PAIR CORRELATIONS
It is shown that for the system of Bose particles it can be obtained the chain of equations for the quasiaverages of the products of field operators, being similar to the Bogolyubov-Born-Green-Kirkwood-Yvon chain in the theory of classical gases. For the

Fröhlich versus Bose-Einstein condensation in pumped bosonic systems
Magnon condensation, which emerges in pumped bosonic systems at room temperature, continues to garner great interest for its long-lived coherence. While traditionally formulated in terms of Bose-Einstein condensation, which typically occurs at ultralow ...

Bose-Einstein and Other Correlations in Hadronic Z Decay
In hadronic Z decays, Bose-Einstein correlations in neutral pion pairs are compared to those in identical charged pion pairs. Bose-Einstein correlations are also measured in triplets of identical charged pions, and comparison with those in pairs of pions

Phenomenological model of decaying Bose polarons
Cold atom experiments show that a mobile impurity particle immersed in a weakly interacting Bose-Einstein condensate forms a well-defined quasiparticle (Bose polaron) for weak to moderate impurity-boson interaction strengths, whereas a significant line ...
