Bell correlations in a Bose-Einstein condensate [PDF]
Correlating an atomic condensate Parts of a quantum system can be more “correlated” than what is allowed in the everyday classical world: A measurement on one part of the system can immediately affect a spatially distant component.

Bose-Einstein correlations of pion wavepackets [PDF]
A wavepacket model for a system of free pions, which takes into account the full permutation symmetry of the wavefunction and which is suitable for any phase space parametrization is developed. The properties of the resulting mixed ensembles and the two-particle correlation function are discussed.

Bose Einstein Condensation of Correlated Pairs [PDF]
In the pair-correlation, or quasi-chemical equilibrium, approximation to statistical mechanics, there appears the possibility of a condensation phenomenon closely analogous to a Bose Einstein condensation of correlated pairs of particles. However, the expansion used in earlier work to establish this phenomenon fails to yield an adequate approximation ...

Bulk flow and correlation measurements at LHCb [PDF]
Particle correlations are a powerful tool to study the properties of the bulk nuclear matter produced in relativistic heavy ion collisions. The momentum correlations between identical particles originating from the same particleemitting source, referred ...

An inconsistency in the simulation of Bose-Einstein correlations [PDF]
We show that the formalism commonly used to implement Bose-Einstein correlations in Monte-Carlo simulations can lead to values of the two-particle correlator significantly smaller than unity, in the case of sources with strong position-momentum correlations.

Multipion correlations induced by isospin conservation of coherent emission
Recent measurements have revealed a significant suppression of multipion Bose–Einstein correlations in heavy-ion collisions at the LHC. The suppression may be explained by postulating coherent pion emission.

Bose-Einstein correlations in the Lund model [PDF]
By providing the Lund Model fragmentation process with a quantum-mechanical framework we extend the results of previous work to situations where there are very many identical bosons. We investigate the features of the weight distributions in some detail and in particular exhibit three-particle BE-correlations, the influence on the rho-spectrum and the ...
