Nonequilibrium dynamics and atom-pair coherence in strongly interacting Bose-Fermi mixtures

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
Theoretical treatments of nonequilibrium dynamics in strongly interacting Bose-Fermi mixtures are complicated by the inherent non-Gaussian nature of the vacuum two-body physics, invalidating the typical Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov approximation.

Polaron Problems in Ultracold Atoms: Role of a Fermi Sea across Different Spatial Dimensions and Quantum Fluctuations of a Bose Medium

open access: yesAtoms, 2021
The notion of a polaron, originally introduced in the context of electrons in ionic lattices, helps us to understand how a quantum impurity behaves when being immersed in and interacting with a many-body background.

Detailed L3 measurements of Bose-Einstein correlations and a region of anti-correlations in hadronic Z^0 decays at LEP [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
L3 preliminary data of two-particle Bose-Einstein correlations are reported for hadronic Z^0 decays in e+e- annihilation at LEP. The invariant relative momentum Q is identified as the eigenvariable of the measured correlation function.

Indirect Band Edge and Chain‐Locked Linear Dichroism in the Quasi‐1D Van der Waals Antiferromagnet AgCrP2S6

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 35, 30 April 2026.
AgCrP2S6 reveals a momentum‐indirect band edge (≈1.35 eV) and chain‐locked linear dichroism: the first direct transitions emerge at 1.6–1.8 eV for E||a. Resonant Raman and photoemission corroborate this assignment. In ACPS/graphene heterostructures, photocurrent turns on above ≈1.5 eV and follows the same polarization selection rules (anisotropy ≈0.53),

Double parton interaction: The values of σeff

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2020
In this letter we show that the two parton showers mechanism for J/Ψ production, that has been discussed in Ref. [23], leads to small values of σeff for the production of a pair of J/Ψ.

Self‐Hybridized Exciton‐Polariton Photodetectors From Layered Metal‐Organic Chalcogenolates

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 34, 27 April 2026.
Self‐hybridized exciton‐polariton photodetectors are demonstrated using high refractive index mithrene, eliminating the need for top mirrors. This simplified architecture enables tunable sub‐bandgap photodetection via lower exciton‐polariton states and enhanced carrier transport through ultrafast polariton group velocities.

Soft physics in Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2012
The LHC results on particle and transverse energy production and Bose-Einstein correlations show that the system produced in Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN = 2.76 TeV is significantly larger, lives longer and is hotter and denser than at RHIC energies.

PHENIX Results on Bose--Einstein Correlation Functions [PDF]

open access: yesActa Physica Polonica B Proceedings Supplement, 2016
Measurement of Bose-Einstein or HBT correlations of identified charged particles provide insight into the space-time structure of particle emitting sources in heavy-ion collisions. In this paper we present the latest results from the RHIC PHENIX experiment on such measurements.
