Comparative Anatomy of the Hyoid Apparatus in Various Dog Breeds: Insights From Clinical Imaging

This study identifies breed‐related shape differences in the canine hyoid apparatus using geometric morphometrics. The results suggest that skull type influences hyoid morphology, with potential functional implications for swallowing, vocalisation and tongue movement.
