Measurements of properties of the Higgs boson decaying to a W boson pair in pp collisions at s=13TeV

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
Measurements of the production of the standard model Higgs boson decaying to a W boson pair are reported. The W+W− candidates are selected in events with an oppositely charged lepton pair, large missing transverse momentum, and various numbers of jets ...

Multi-Boson Interactions at the LHC

open access: yes, 2016
This review covers results on the production of all possible electroweak boson pairs and 2-to-1 vector boson fusion at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in proton-proton collisions at a center of mass energy of 7 and 8 TeV. The data were taken between

Search for the associated production of the Higgs boson and a vector boson in proton-proton collisions at s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 13 TeV via Higgs boson decays to τ leptons

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
A search for the standard model Higgs boson produced in association with a W or a Z boson and decaying to a pair of τ leptons is performed. A data sample of proton-proton collisions collected at s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 13 TeV by the CMS experiment at the CERN

Light pseudoscalar eta and H->eta eta decay in the simplest little Higgs mode

open access: yes, 2006
The SU(3) simplest little Higgs model in its original framework without the so-called mu term inevitably involves a massless pseudoscalar boson eta, which is problematic for b-physics and cosmological axion limit. With the mu term introduced by hand, the

Observation of H→bb¯ decays and VH production with the ATLAS detector

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2018
A search for the decay of the Standard Model Higgs boson into a bb¯ pair when produced in association with a W or Z boson is performed with the ATLAS detector.

Hard Scattering Based Luminosity Measurement at Hadron Colliders [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
A strategy to determine the luminosity at Hadron Colliders is discussed using the simultaneous W-boson and Z-boson event counts. The emphasis of the study will be on the uncertainty induced by the parton density functions.

Interactions of a $j=1$ boson in the $2(2j+1)$ component theory

open access: yes, 1995
The amplitudes for boson-boson and fermion-boson interactions are calculated in the second order of perturbation theory in the Lobachevsky space. An essential ingredient of the used model is the Weinberg's $2(2j+1)$ component formalism for describing a ...

The role of boson-fermion correlations in the resonance theory of superfluids [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2004
Correlations between a composite boson and a fermion pair are considered in the context of the crossover theory of fermionic to bosonic superfluidity. It is shown that such correlations are the minimal ingredients needed in a many-body theory to generate the right boson-boson scattering length in the Bose-Einstein limit of the crossover.
