ROTATING BOSON AND BOSON-FERMION STARS [PDF]
Some recent results on rotating self-gravitating configurations composed with Bosons and Fermions are reported. Given a star composed of both Bosons and Fermions without interaction, it is shown that it is possible to obtain stable slowly rotating configurations by using the same perturbative relativistic method that usually describes neutron stars.

A Combinatorial Model for $q$-Generalized Stirling and Bell Numbers [PDF]
We describe a combinatorial model for the $q$-analogs of the generalized Stirling numbers in terms of bugs and colonies. Using both algebraic and combinatorial methods, we derive explicit formulas, recursions and generating functions for these $q ...

INTERACTING BOSON MODEL CALCULATIONS FOR EVEN-EVEN NUCLEUS [PDF]
:In the present work, the interacting boson model(IBM-1)has been used in the calculation of the energy levels as a function of angular momentum E(L) for even-even deformed nuclei.

Discrete Goldstone bosons [PDF]
Exact discrete symmetries, if non-linearly realized, can reduce the ultraviolet sensitivity of a given theory. The scalars stemming from spontaneous symmetry breaking are massive without breaking the discrete symmetry, and those masses are protected from divergent quadratic corrections. This is in contrast to non-linearly realized continuous symmetries,

A free lattice fermion field theory in 1+1 dimensions can be interpreted as SOS-type model, whose spins are integer-valued. We point out that the relation between these spins and the fermion field is similar to the abelian bosonization relation between bosons and fermions in the continuum.

Hot exciton effect in photoluminescence of monolayer transition metal dichalcogenide
The hot excitons (green circle) could be scattered into the light cone by absorbing or emitting acoustic phonon. This acoustic phonon assisted photoluminescence accounts for the non‐lorentzian high energy tail in the PL spectrum and the hot exciton effect is signaificant to linear optical properties of transition metal dichalcogenides.

The most recent results of a Higgs boson production and properties from the CMS Collaboration using the LHC Run 1 and Run 2 data are reported. These include analyses of a Higgs boson decaying to a pair of photons, four leptons via Z boson pair decays and
